We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
We keep your purchase order details for administrative purposes but we never pass them on to third parties and we never send unsolicited emails. We won't bore you with newsletters. We welcome payment from all major credit cards through our secure encrypted payment system, powered by PayPal.
We are also happy to take payment by credit card over the phone, you can post us a cheque or arrange a bank transfer. You can even pop round to the factory and pay by cash!
All orders are sent out (we don't use the term dispatched with regard to the sheep, it has unfortunate connotations) within 3 working days of receiving the order. The smaller sheep are sent out by first class Royal Mail, and should arrive within one day. The larger sheep - 15" diameter round sheep and above - are sent by MyHermes and should arrive within 2 – 3 days.
We pride ourselves on our customer service and do our best to get the orders sent out as quickly as possible, but sometimes at peak demand it can take a bit longer. Please allow up to 10 working days for your order to arrive.
If your chosen goods are out of stock or no longer available we will advise you by email.
If we cannot meet your requirements we will credit your method of payment.
Refund / Cancellation Policy
If you're not happy with your sheep then send it back in a re-sellable condition within 30 days for a full refund minus the postage costs. We appreciate that chimneys are hard to measure, but if you are not sure the sheep is going to fit please wrap it in a plastic covering first so it doesn't get all sooty (take the plastic off once you know it fits). Partial refunds (50%) are available for sooty sheep. We are also happy to exchange sheep for larger or smaller ones. Please enclose a copy of the purchase order form with a note explaining whether you want a refund or replacement & specify what you want to exchange it for.
If you want to return a bespoke / odd sheep that has been tailor made to your specifications, we do not normally accept returns unless it is due to an error in the sizing on our part. However we want you to be happy with your sheep so if it doesn't fit let us know and we will see if an exchange can be arranged.
In the unlikely event of the product failing (not as a consequence of it not fitting, but a failure in the materials or structure) then send it back for a full refund any time within a year of purchase, with proof of purchase, for a refund or exchange.

Fires are dangerous things. Every precaution has been taken to ensure the product is safe and is used safely. Please follow the safety instructions, that is, always make sure the reminder dangle is visible at the top of the fireplace and always take the Chimney Sheep™ out before you light the fire. Fires should never be left unattended without a fireguard in place. Chimney Sheep Ltd can accept no liability for the consequences of the misuse of the product.
