Made of 100% sheep wool, our handwoven thick wool rugs feel beautiful, look beautiful and keep your home cosy. Handmade with two types of wool – Herdwick and Texel – sourced from UK farms, each grey wool rug is sustainable and synthetic fibre free. They feel soft underfoot and will be a striking focal point in any room. 

We're often told that Herdwick wool is too attractive to be stuck up the chimney as a Chimney Sheep. It's taken a while to source the expertise to weave the Herdwick wool into a rug. The wool is coarse and wiry, but by combining it with another Lake District wool, the softer Texel, we can at last bring you these artisan rugs.

With the stunning naturally occurring grey shades of the undyed Herdwick wool and the softness of fine Texel wool, our hand-woven rugs will sit perfectly in any room in your home.
