Sustainable

Woolch is what happens when sustainable gardening meets local, natural brilliance. Made entirely from Cumbrian sheep wool and enriched with biochar, it's a mulch with a mission - to feed your soil, fight off weeds, and keep moisture locked in without costing the earth. The wool insulates against heat and frost, while its rough fibres naturally deter slugs and snails. The added biochar acts like a sponge for nutrients, helping roots thrive and giving your plants a steady, long-lasting boost.

It's perfect for borders, beds, pots, and veg patches - just lay a thick layer around your plants, sprinkle with a bit of water to bed it in if you like, and let nature do the rest. As Woolch breaks down, it gently releases nitrogen and organic matter into the soil, improving its health over time.

Wrapped in plastic-free, recyclable or compostable packaging, Woolch doesn't just look after your garden - it looks after the planet too. No microplastics, no waste, just healthier soil and happier plants.

Available in either a 50 Litre box measuring 27cm x 31cm x 34cm and weighing 1.5kg, or a 200 Litre box measuring 75cm x 56cm x 35cm, and weighing 12kg.

Great idea….. sheep wool pellets to protect my seedlings

Great idea. Used the sheep wool pellets to protect my second lot of seedlings and they are growing great. First lot were nibbled to stalks by snails and slugs. Super stuff. Great buy and fast postage. Really pleased I got these.

Not for dogs?

Sadly we couldn't use the Woolch because our collie kept eating it!

I used the whole lot in one go...

seems to be doing its job and happy that it will also supply nutrients to the soil. Will purchase again - tho i have a feeling once the birds start nesting i will lose alot of it!

I hate bark chippings so......

When I found this company, I was overjoyed. What a fantastic way to use fleece. I used it to stop weeds and can't wait till the spring to then dig it in to enrich my soil. I will be back to buy more stuff from this company.
