The chimney sheep has been very effective in keeping out the draught, and keeping the living room warmer. I had previously used an inflatable thing to block up the chimney, but it also stopped the ventilation and therefore caused damp in the living room.
The chimney sheep is effective in stopping the draught and still allows for adequate ventilation. Highly recommended.

Our chimney-sheep took longer to take out of the box than it was to fit!
We selected a cover type for the front of our fireplace, this is held in position with button magnets in the chimney-sheep.
Our fireplace has a grate which extends slightly, the chimney sheep would benifit from a fillet of fabric inserting to accommodate the extra distance it has to cover.
It's a stretched sluggish fit currently. A small amount of seepage in ventilation, which requires attention.
Overall I rate the product 5 stars. The difference made withbthis being fitted is huge.

Delivered by Royal Mail on time it is easy to fit and we hope it will do its job and save energy costs. It has certainly stopped our living room door opening on its own due to draughts already. Just one negative, it would be nicer to enjoy a discount at the point of sale rather than start searching for a mystery discount code via sites that we do not trust, so we gave up and paid the full price. Not all OAPs are comfortable floating around varies websites searching for these mystery discount codes when it would be good customer practice to simply discount the price at source.
