Nappy liners are an essential in your nappying armoury. You don’t really need them for the disposable pads – these nappy liners are to be paired with the absorbent reusable pads.
The biodegradable liners draw moisture away from your baby’s bottom so the skin stays dry and comfortable. They stop solids from passing through into the reusable pad, making laundry a whole lot easier. The liners mustn’t be flushed down the loo, but there’s a parent-knack to master, where you scoop up the liner containing the poo, carefully holding it so nothing drops out until you get it into the toilet bowl. Now, hold one corner of the liner and flush. DO NOT LET GO. All the poo will go down the loo and the liner can go in the bin. You can have a go at washing it and reusing it a couple of times if you like, but in the end it’s biodegradable so it will eventually decompose down. To be honest I’m not sure how compostable it is, so it’s best to put this in the regular rubbish.
