I've bought it to use on some 140 year old sash windows which I have just refurbished - looks to fit the gap between the actual sliding window bit and the baton that holds it in place. I'm hoping the tape is strong enough, if not some serruptitious galvanised staples would help..

Great product the fits well in the chimney and stops draughts and rubbish dropping into the hearth but is easily removed when needed. Highly recommended.
